Roadform Website

Project Brief

Roadform has been a long established client of mine now, going back 10 years or more. I had previously produced a static HTML based website for them which served its purposes well for the times back then (circa 2008), but for this new website was going to built from scratch on the WordPress platform, not only for the required ease of updating future projects, but also so that the website worked effectively and consistently across all operating systems and mobile devices.

Deliverables

This website project was really all about showcasing the many services Roadform as a highly motivated construction company was capable of. They needed the website to be easy to navigate and from the homepage a real sense about what they could do and what they were about needed to be communicated. The large, full screen slideshow showcasing 7 core services is the first thing you see when you arrive on the homepage, the use of autoplay thumbnail video is also very engaging to any previous or new visitor to the website. The Projects Portfolio section is also broken down into easy to access sub menus titles to allow “one click” access of content that is specific to a visitors needs.

Deliverables

This website needed to have a big visual impact from the moment you arrived on the homepage. This is why I went with a large hero style slider that visually communicated the various areas of expertise and experience that Cumnor Construction had since their establishment in 1983. The website also needed to easily allow a user to select a construction category and from there browse and cleanly design portfolio of past projects. The brand colouring was also continued throughout the whole website also to help promote the consistency of the branding and in turn the consistency of the work that Cumnor carry out in their construction projects.
